PURCHASING METHODS
The products offered for sale by Mantero are exclusively those available on www.mantero.com at the time the order is placed, as described in the relevant product information pages.
The images accompanying the product descriptions are provided for illustrative purposes only and may differ slightly from the actual product, without affecting its essential characteristics.
In order to correctly place an order, the Customer must enter their personal details in the relevant form available on the website, after having reviewed and accepted these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and the characteristics of the product or products they intend to purchase. Where required, the Customer may request the issuance of an invoice for the purchase, pursuant to Article 22 of Italian Presidential Decree No. 633/1972, by providing the mandatory tax information.
The term “placing an order” means the submission by the Customer of a request to enter into a sales contract for the products specified in the order.
Mantero will confirm receipt of the order by sending an e-mail to the e-mail address provided by the Customer. The order confirmation e-mail will briefly set out the Purchase Terms, as required by applicable law, as well as the details entered by the Customer and the products purchased, allowing the Customer to verify the information and promptly notify Mantero of any necessary corrections to inaccurate data.
PRICES
Any information relating to the products offered for sale, including the prices displayed on www.mantero.com, constitutes an invitation to enter into a contract and does not constitute an offer pursuant to Article 1336 of the Italian Civil Code.
The contract shall be deemed concluded upon Mantero’s acceptance of the order, confirmed by the sending of the order confirmation e-mail.
The prices displayed on the website include all applicable taxes and VAT in accordance with the legislation in force. For customers residing in other EU Member States, the VAT rate applied may vary depending on the Customer’s country of destination, pursuant to the EU OSS (One Stop Shop) regime. Any shipping costs or payment fees will, in all cases, be communicated to the Customer in advance through the website or these Terms and Conditions.
PAYMENT METHODS
The Customer may pay for the products using one of the following payment methods:
- PayPal/Apple Pay/Google Pay/Pay Express/Scalapay/Klarna
The Customer may use the payment services listed above in accordance with the specific terms and procedures applicable to each service. Payment may be made using the options available to the Customer during checkout. In particular, certain services may allow deferred or instalment payments, where available and subject to approval by the relevant payment service provider.
If the Customer chooses a deferred or instalment payment option offered by PayPal, Scalapay or Klarna, the relevant service will be provided directly by the selected payment service provider and will be governed by its applicable terms and conditions, which the Customer must accept during checkout.
For payments made via Apple Pay, Google Pay and Pay Express, the Customer may use the payment methods linked to the relevant account, in accordance with the terms and conditions established by the respective service providers. - Credit Card/Debit Card
Accepted card networks include: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro and UnionPay. - Bank Transfer
If the Customer selects this payment method, Mantero will send all the information required to make the bank transfer by e-mail to the e-mail address provided when placing the order. The Customer must include the name of the account holder and the relevant order number in the payment reference. Mantero will process the order only upon receipt of the payment.
For purchases paid by credit or debit card, the transaction may be processed through PayPal’s secure server or another secure server selected by Mantero (Apple Pay / Google Pay / Pay Express / Scalapay / Klarna).
Under no circumstances and at no stage of the payment process will Mantero have access to the Customer’s credit or debit card details (card number, expiry date or CVV), which are transmitted through a secure connection directly to the website of the financial institution processing the transaction. Mantero will not store such data in any electronic archive and therefore cannot, under any circumstances, be held liable for any fraudulent or unauthorized use of credit or debit cards by third parties at the time of payment.
PSD2
As of 28 December 2020, online payments are further protected by the European PSD2 regulation, which introduced enhanced customer authentication requirements. When placing an order using a card payment, the Customer’s bank may require additional identity verification through 3D Secure authentication. Various authentication methods may be used, including SMS, e-mail or Touch ID. We recommend contacting the bank to ensure that the Customer’s contact details are up to date should SMS or e-mail authentication be required for 3D Secure.
